HELP i dont know what happened w/my bed it has been working then it stopped so i basically have now replaced A relay and as of now its weird because there is all the right amount of power coming from all the sources but the bed will only come on by pushing in the plunger on relay and as for the timer it will only shut bed off but not turn it on so I dont know what happend but I also noticed a ballast on the top has a slight darkened end & it looks like the wires & the ballast may of gotten 2 hot but does that mean it needs replaced also because everything else seems to look ok as far as all the wiring & such its just really confusing why its not allowing the timer to turn on but it will turn off when i got my new relay its not a siemens like the old but i was told its compatible even though i opened up my old relay & noticed the ribbon like stuff around it was melted on one side of coil and it says 115 v on each side of coil but the new one only says 120 on the coil. Is it maybe that its the wrong relay and they misunderstood what i needed? Please help asap I am so frustrated

After turning on the timer, how much voltage do you get going into the relay?
Also, if you havent burnt your ballasts already, you should get those burnt areas rewired and make sure the connection to the ballast is extra tight.
