Sontegra baby X-need advice

Having a problem with a BabyX. The bed will not fire up (but the fan does) so I thought it may be the contactor. I swapped out the contactor to another babyx and it worked. I did the same with the Limit switch and that too was not the problem. When I attempt to turn the bed on, the contactor will not "suck down" for lack of a better term. If i push the contactor down manually the bed will fire up. So the contactor is fine, so is the limit switch. Anyone have any idea where the problem may be? Thanks.

Re: Sontegra baby X-need advice

OK, It is either the fan flag switch is bad, the MAR 1 (not the MCR 1) time relay on the top drawer is bad, a broken wire in the connecting cord for the top in the on/off switch circuit, the on/off switch is off, bad coil in the contactor.

All of these would create the problem. Most likely the MAR 1 though.

Re: Sontegra baby X-need advice

Brian, my next question was going to be if the flag switch could be the problem. It definitely moves when the fan engages but I guess it could possibly not be sending a signal.I am not familiar with the MAR1 but will figure it out and look at that also. I will also check the ON wiring.I am pretty sure the contactor is ok because I switched them between another BabyX and it works in the other one. Thanks, for the reply, I will try the flag switch first.
