Rep Power: 16 | Ergo 600 Hinge/Springs Hi Docs, I need some help w/my Ergo 600 Lid coming down w/no tension. It will stay all the way up or obviously all the way down and that is one heavy canopy comin' down on top of people. Ugh! Have tightened the spring head as tight as it would go. Is there an adjustment at the other end of cable for the canopy? The actual springs seem to be in good shape. The Owners manual is little to no help. Anyone have this problem, or any other ideas? Thanx much!

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Ergo 600 Hinge/Springs Is the floor level? I the bed is tilted forward that will affect balance. I that check out then the springs are probably getting weak. You could try some washers in between the adjustment bolt head. You would have to loosen them all the way first though to gt them in there so the bolt will tighten more. If that doesn't work then it is time to replace the springs. |
