Re: Sundash Radius 200 Help!

It depends on your FST wall switch model. Look at the back of the wall plate, if it has a physical relay on it then it will work, if it has a triac on it then it will only work with AC voltage and using a low voltage DC adapter will not work since triacs only pass AC voltage. The triac will be about 1 1/2" square and about a 1/4" thick. A relay will be a smaller, taller cube.

If you have the triac wall switch then you will need to swap it out for a relay type. You can also try an AC adapter that puts out 9 VAC and not 9 VDC as the triac will pass AC.

Does the unit turn on if you feed the two wires from the booth directly from the adapter? If so, then it is wired properly, you just need to use AC voltage.

Got it?

Re: Sundash Radius 200 Help!

Brian thank you, while i was talking to jk ergoline they told me to use a 24v adapter instead of 9 because 9 isnt enough current so i used the 24v adapter and now i smell burning and the unit made a beeping noise so i opened up the board and i blew the board so now im looking at $250 for a new board from atlantic do you know where i can get a used one or one cheaper?
