Help needed asap please
 

We had existing FST wall plates going to FST 1200 that worked fine. We just got all newer KBL equipment and have the electricians trying to get the beds to remotely turn on and they are having no luck.

He is trying the KBL Tower Energy right now and the timer just runs when set but it just runs but doesn't power up.

Do these beds, 5600's and 7000 have to be programmed to use the external FST timer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FST uses a triac which will only control relays with AC (aternating current) coils. They will not operate DC (direct current) coils. You will need to gather a couple of parts to make this work. Here is a diagram I drew up for this application. The connection to the unit says for Suncapsule in the diagram but I don't feel like drawing another one so the Suncapsule connections will be where you connect all of your beds timer connections to. It will be a two wire hookup to the bed after you set up a relay in this fashion.

The parts are for example so they don't have to look exactly like this but the wiring of the parts will be the same. THe coil of the relay will need to be AC and it will solve your problem.
