Starpower Facial Lamps Blowing

We have a Starpower 548 from ETS. Over the last few months we have had a problem with the facial lamps blowing. For instance, we changed one about 2 weeks ago. Now, we have 2 out (one is the same as the one we replaced). There has to be something that is making them go out. Help!

Might be electrical,or human error.Just curious, are you handling the lamps with your bare hands???

is there any part of the lamp touching the metal clips. If they are touching, they will not last very long.

Sounds like poor cooling. Do the lamps look like bloated guppies?

give the bed a good cleaning and check the voltage coming into the bed to make sure you are not running to high of a voltage
no one ever considers this but it does happen

your voltage at your location can change do to changes in whats going on around your building
etc a walmart next door all of a sudden will make it dip a lil lol

Try Philips 400W lamps in ETS beds, they seem to last longer. Make sure the rotary fans are working. Take a look at the contact points of the two ceramic holders, make sure there aren't any burn marks.
