Anyone doing lash extensions?

So I was going to do lash extensions from the salon, but I would have to redo a room, get another certification, another health licenses blah blah. So I get talked into trying some new 3D fiber mascara by my friend who owns a hair salon. and it is going over AWESOME. The retail is $29.99 and its selling like hotcakes. Let me know if you want more info. I'll message you before and after pics and all the details. I'll be making about $400 extra (NET) per salon just off of it. Just a new product, no extra service or staff. Perfect add on.

So you're trying to sell something? Is this one of those MLM products that are absolute ****?

Does MLM make something absolute ****? SOOO then I guess you have NEVER used Tupperware, Avon or Mary Kay before in your life? I think those products have stood the test of time and are of very good quality. Its a mascara, its a great product and people love it. And whats best is you can make money off of it. If your interested let me know. If not, don't bother posting, I have 4 tanning salons and don't have time to bother with doom and gloom nay sayers.

These products give innocent, gullible people hope that they can make it rich quick when you never actually make any real money off of it unless you were one of the first ones "in" on it. They then use their "incentive" programs like a "free" pink Cadillac or BMW but they give you the money towards these super expensive vehicles and cut you off as soon as you don't meet their quotas. Then you're stuck with the bill and a lot of people quit their day jobs to pursue something like this, so all of a sudden they don't have any financial security and have a $600/month car payment!

Ok I take it back, MLM are not COMPLETE **** but they are extremely over priced for what they are and you can get much better products for a whole lot cheaper.

Actually, MLM's are quite successful business models. I don't do one myself but I would not bash them either. Glad u don't listen to the doom and gloom naysayers. I don't either. Do what works for you. Funny comment coming from a tanning salon who sells lotions at a 500% mark up. Good luck and best wishes on whatever you do. A girls gotta eat.

None of my products are marked up 500%.

Amway is a great example of one of the biggest MLM companies out there & they have had a ton of lawsuits against them for being a pyramid scheme years back. Body by vi was another popular one in these last couple of years. They sold low quality soy protein powder for $50/lb CDN when you could go to a local store and buy high quality whey protein for $80/5lbs they then told everyone it is a miracle weight loss product but in reality people were replacing an entire meal with these shakes that are only 100 calories, so of course your going to lose weight!)
