roseola Does tanning help people who have roseola? Or could it make things worse? |
Re: roseola It's been almost a year since I posted this question. I do not recall learning anything about tanning and roseola since then. The question does come up about once per year from a client so I'll ask it again - does tanning help or hinder roseola? |
Re: roseola Do you mean Roseola? http://search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt=A0oG7...oseola/DS00452 Or, Rosacea? http://search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt=A0oG7...osacea/DS00308 I do not see how you would get asked yearly about Roseola? Rosacea, maybe. |
Re: roseola I'm sure you meen Rosacea. The reddening on the face would definately be worse after they tanned due to the heat dialating the blood vessels. It would not help the condition,as there really is no treatement, and patients with this condition just have to avoid or minimize the conditions that make it worse for them. I have found that most people who have this are fair complected also. |
Re: roseola I disagree. I have Rosacea. I have been tanning in beds for almost 20 years. It will cause a temporary flair up when I first start, but it calms down and has not impacted me long term. Also, once I am tan, it covers up the Rosacea, making it un-noticeable or at least less noticeable. Without tanning I look like I have been wind burned while wearing sunglasses; with tanning, I look normal. |
