3rd time ever at a tanning bed, slightly burnt
 

the first 2 times i went i loaded up on sunblock and did 10 minutes each time but saw no difference really. so i figured my sunblock was too potent and bought a 3 dollar packet of some kinda lotion idk. the lady said i shouldnt get burned. the first 2 times i went i was put in the same room.

tonight they put me in the next room over plus i had this new lotion. i did the full 12 minutes they offer and got burned. the pain is very minor and im not that uncomfortable. but am i at any risk of any kind of skin disease if i stopped now? i just dont know if i wanna keep at this. im fair skinned and barely even go out in the sun in the summer. should i not even worry about skin problems later in life? i just smoked a bit with my girl so forgive me if im a bit paranoid

Is this a real question? Why would you go pay for tanning and then load up on sunblock? Thats a little counterproductive don't ya think? Of course you didn't get any sun the first 2 times you went, you blocked it all! And of course you got burnt your third time because you used a tanning lotion and went the full 12 minutes! In the future, don't use sunblock and start off slow doing 2-5 minutes your first time (your salon can better skin type you). And no.... your not going to get some kind of skin disease if you stopped tanning! Where did you hear that crap? I can't believe I just answered this ridiculous question....
