Returning Tanner / Needs Help!

Hello everyone, my names Clayton. I'm new to these forums. I used to tan about 2 years ago when I was 18. I am just now starting to get back into it, in a careful moderation, with all the bad talk about how bad tanning is for you. I need recommendations for facial products. I have acne prone skin. I use neutrogena oil-free acne wash cream cleanser. I used to have oily skin before I started using this product, but now it seems pretty dry, but its helped my face ALOT. I just need a good moisturizer that wont make my face break out. I also want to buy good tanning lotion that wont make my face break out either. Any recommendations? Thank you.

first off, all this talk is just that. Talk. When your skin burns, that's too much. That's still the only way to say that you have over-tanned.

As for a tanning lotion, you need to find something more on the thin size. Heavy moisturizers are not going to help as you are already too moist to begin with. Stay away from Designer Skin as they qualify as too heavy.

I find that Devoted Creations Sport Couture (or whatever it's called) is real good. It's very thin and absorbs instantly. Real good stuff.

I don't have a recommendation for a daily moisturizer, however for a tanning lotion Designer Skin does have Vanishing Act, a facial bronzer and blemish treatment formula combined.

I always tell people that your face is just a "different country." You have to treat it as such. The skin is thinner, more vascular, more fragile and delicate. I don't use any tanning lotions on my face. Too much fragrance for one...very drying. Ask your tanning salon about purpose made face products or just stick to your own face product for moisture recovery. Limit your facial tanning time for the above reason...your facial skin is different. I turn off the face tanner halfway through or if no face tanner I use a solar cap. I love Serum 4F from Tanology for faces. A bit costly, but to me worth every penny. Although, I hear good things as well about "Saving Faces." Not science but just my opinion. Best Wishes!
