Rep Power: 21 | I have a customer that has gotten very small bumps all over stomach and legs after tanning a few times. They don't have any redness. They are the size of a pencil led and she has thousands of them? What is this and what should I tell her to do about it? |

Rep Power: 24 | sounds like she might be having a reaction to the bed cleaner ?? I had a customer once that got them, tons of them under his arm pit, he changed deoterants and had a reaction to the new one..has she gotten them before?? Is she new to tanning ?? Maybe the prior person in the bed used a tingle..this has happend here before..What did she use to tan in ?? Lotion wise?? was it the same each time?? Might be alergic to something in the product?? _________________ [ This Message was edited by: ALOHATANCA on 2004-01-16 15:34 ] |

Rep Power: 21 | She is one of my EFT customers. She's been tanning here for over 6 months. She did stay gone for about 2 months and when she started back tanning the bumps appeared? I had another male customer get the same thing when we first opened. His went away after a few weeks? I had read something about this on the web but I can't find it now. |

Rep Power: 22 | It can be heat rash...but more than likely it could be hives... I have had clients have the same thing happen and when we discuss what is going on and illiminate all possiblitiy we find that it is from stress..when they get in the bed they relax and all that stress starts to get relieved and when this happens it has to find a place to escape and normally it is the skin that it retreats to...therefore you get the rash..it will normally go away in a few days and after so many sessions it is gone completely...Tell them to try some cortozone cream after tanning and a good shower, not to wear it while tanning though. _________________ Margaret 316 D Hwy 210 N Spring Lake NC 28390 910-436-7869 www.geocities.com/tanningemporium2003 www.homeinteriors.com/mcbess www.youravon.com/margaretcarroll[ This Message was edited by: TanningEmporium on 2004-01-17 11:54 ] |

Rep Power: 107 | Wouldn't be bed cleaner unless the client is lying face down in the bed............ and therefore in contact with the surface cleaned by the bed sanitizer/cleaner. If it were the cleaner it would be more likely to affect the clients back. _________________ Click Here[ This Message was edited by: Neon Beach on 2004-01-19 14:17 ] |

Rep Power: 0 | Send her to her doctor! We are not licensed physicians, we are tanning experts! I am sure that your client will be very appreciative that you care enough about her well-being to not try to diagnos her, but to send her to her doctor who can! There are so many things that this could be from tingle residue, cleaning solution allergy to she is using a new soap or laundry detergent. Don't guess for her, send her to the doc! |

Rep Power: 21 | I did recommend she ask her physician. I told her I didn’t know what it was. I asked the question here because that’s what we do. Ask each other questions in a effort to educate ourselves. Just seeking information. NOT PLAYING A DOCTOR in my salon or on TV. |

Rep Power: 0 | First of all, I was not implying that you were "playing a doctor". Secondly, I was just offering you advise in order to try to help you and everyone in this forum. You are 100% correct, we are all here to learn and to make our business and industry better through education. I am sorry if you mistook what I said, but nowhere in your original post did you say that you sent your customer to her doctor. How can we give good advice if we don't have all of the facts? I hope that you find out from your customer what the doctor said, I know I would be very interested in their diagnosis. Again, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend, just offer advise. |
