Skin problem or tanning??

Hey guys,
Last winter I sarted going at the tanning salon but after a while I had a red (or white depending on when I went to the tanning salon) spot on my cheek. I did some research over here I read about Tinea Versicolor but I don't think that's what I had and now I'm scared if I go back it's going to come back. It kinda looked like a dry spot on my skin (even though I put lotion on it didn't go away). The only thing I can compare it with is exema, kinda had the same look/touch. As I got whiter and the tan went away so did my spot. I didn't have it anywhere else and it wasn't huge but big enough so people notticed it. I asked a couple of people who works or owned a tanning salon if they ever saw something similar some of them said that where I went the bed wasn't cleaned well, others said it was like a skin mushroom or something like that (?). Anyways, I hope somebody has an idea what it is because I'm sick of being so pale and I'm so scared to go back, took a long time to get rid of it!!
Thanks in advanced!

Re: Skin problem or tanning??

sounds exactly like tinea vesicolor to me.

did u put your face on the acrylic, I doubt it, so I dont think it had anything to do with cleanliness at the salon u went to. if it were, you would have it everywhere u touched the acrylic, not just your face.
