severe burn??

I just got back from my tanning salon. I went in a turbo bed for 13 min (not unusual for me to go for that long). After about 8-9 min i felt a burning sensation on my bottom, shoulders, and calves..pretty much anywhere that had direct contact with the bed. As soon as I got out of the bed I looked in the mirror and I was EXTREMELY red in those areas. I'm not going to lie..I'm a little freaked out right now because this has never happened to me before. Please help asap!!!

Re: severe burn??

More than likely the culprit is a tingle lotion residue from a previous tanner. You need to let your salon know what happened. They need to do a better job getting the acylics clean. Anyway, it will go away after a couple of hours. Until then just chill out, it won't hurt you.

PHEW! Thank you so much for your response. Another question though, what are tingle lotions?

Re: severe burn??

Niacin based lotions that cause a FLUSH. It'll go away in a few months.....ok hours.

Re: severe burn??

Yes, I personally could never use the "tingle" lotions because they broke me out everytime and caused extreme burning and itching.....My hubby loved to use them though.

Take care!
