To get a darker tan should I go tanning every day? Or no? I usually skip 2 or 3 days in between my sessions. I've only been tanning for a month and I want to get darker.

Also I asked the lady who worked there what I could to get my arms/legs tan because for some reason they just won't get a tan. My stomach/back is dark but my arms and legs are only a LITTLE bit darker. So she suggested Designer Skin Believe In Me Triple Bronzer...but I don't see that much of a difference.

Any tips/advice?

Try using a lotion with a tingle, (ask your salon staff what tingle lotion they carry) that should really help the arms and leg areas. And maybe upgrade to a stronger bed , I dont know what bed your using now but your tanning salon most likely has a few different levels of beds and booths. A stronger bed may give you the results you want.

are u using some other lotion outside of your tanning lotion like bath and body or jergens as they are high in mineral oil and alcohol and/or skin bleaching agents which can inhibit a tan.

if not, then I agree with above--try a tingle or upgrade beds.

Use a sugar Scrub (not salt) once a week on a day you plan to tan. It will help slough off dead and dry skin cells so you will tan better.

The reason I suggested Sugar vs. salt is the shape of the crystal ….. Salt has a jagged shape to it and will tear the skin on a micro level. Sugar has a round crystal and will exfoliate your skin with out damaging it.

Also make sure you are moisturizing. You should moisturize twice daily. That is going to keep your skin hydrated and hydrated skin tans better and more evenly and lasts longer.

Double Dip!!! Tan and then spray!!! spray once a week and tan about 2-3 times a week. Also use A good tan extender. I just tried Amber Sun Pro Long and I really really love it!!! Gives you great color!!! Also, salon solatte is good to spray on yourself if you want darker color...And don't have a lot of time...I have a lot of girls that use it on their legs...etc...But do some sprays!!!!!

I will add that Amber Sun also makes a self tanning lotion and its the ONLY self tanning lotion we order and sell here. Its great stuff. Smells great and streak free. I actually forgot about this stuff, demand dropped in summer for this so we dont stock it. Will have to order. Its a staged self tanner, you apply each day until you get the results you want. But its great for complimenting a natural tan from indoors or out.
