Rep Power: 0 | Face different skintype to body? Is this possible? I have skintype 2-3 and can tan very nicely everywhere but my face which is pure white with freckles across my nose and cheeks. My moms a redhead and my dad has the same skintype as me, I have attempted tanning my face a few times but all that seems to happen is my freckles darken. I would like a tan on my face but if its not possible I dont want to end up giving it unnessarcary exposure. Thanking you in advance! |

I tried 5 different ones and that's the only one I like so far. You just mist your face and neck and tan your body. You might find another that works well but I bought one over the counter and it was horrible, I thought they would all be that way. Some salons with spray tan might do just face spritz as well. :) My face would always get darker before my body for some it's the other way around.

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Face different skintype to body? faces often just don't tan as well as the rest of the body, and from what it sounds like the beds you use don't have special facial bulbs, is that right? You'd probably see better results if you tried a bed with high pressure facial bulbs. My face used to never tan well until I started using beds with the high pressure facials, now I very rarely use beds without them. ~Katy |

I've found that using a sunless tanner made for the face works really well to get my face as dark as the rest of my body. I use Neutrogena Instant Bronze Face. It doesn't streak and you don't get an orange color. It's very natural looking and blends really well. |
