Rep Power: 0 | Leg tanning Hello everyone! I have a question...I have a couple clients, myself included, that say their legs don't tan as fast as the rest of their body. Is this normal??? I'm not sure what to tell my clients as to why their legs are tanning as well as the rest of them. Any advice on this subject is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jamie |

I often give them a free sample if they are wary to try it. Tell them to put on their regular lotion over their body first, then tingle on the legs. And make sure you emphasize what tingle does and how they will feel, many clients I have still have never used a tingle product.

If they don't like tingle, or can't stand to use it... HP beds or beds with higher UVA should help them, since UVA penetrates deeper into the skin, they won't shave it off. LOL Most tingles itch me to death, so I don't use them. My HP and VHR beds help my legs get darker... actually, my legs are darker than my arms.

I personally will use a good bronzing tingle every now and then for a boost on my legs. I am one to shave alot, so I try to keep them well moisturized with a moisturizer with tan extender in it. Another thing to try is having the client use a bronzer with a fade defying formula or a warming, non-tingle lotion if they can't or won't do a tingle. Circulation plays an important role too...if your clients are working out after they tan, maybe suggest that they come by and tan after working out instead while their blood is pumping good!
