Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Which would be the better investment? lumiere machine that does one function or Rejuvasun with the LED light therapy built in and still have it for tanning? I paid like 10,000 for my rejuvasun how much does the lumiere cost? they can use the facial and the tanning bed at the same time, or just tan or just the facial. IMPUT please. Mindy |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun There is one on here for sale I think $10K. (luminere) You already have the Rejuvasun? |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Yes, and my customers love it. It gets used more than my other machines. It's a great looking bed too. I charge more for the facial, and I sell packages for the facial only as well. It comes with some wipes and serum for the face. but my clients usually don't use anything. it works best for me without the serum. I love this machine. and she's a work horse no doubt. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun The definitely pick up the Luminere. There's one with like 2 hrs on it for sale on here. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I'd like ETS to come out with a stand alone LED that can just be used in the facial area like Lumiere, even if it's just one panel kinda like the old Sperti tanning lamp sit it on a table top and get a few bucks for it. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun but will it pull the wrinkles out of my bean bag? |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I suppose if you squat over it for 20 minutes. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Well NOW we have something here. Install it at the bottom of the bowl and there you go! Now taking a **** is more beneficial than just relieving one's bowels! Iron out that sac of yers with TAINT AWAY REJUVENATION TOILET AND BIDET. Knock years of that stretched out trash bag while doing what we have to do anyway! Caution: does not work on penis wrinkles....with out the included firming creme. I don't NEED to tell you when that's to be used. You'll be grabbing for it before you even realize what you are using. (please see bouncy thread and have creme handy) |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Speaking of penis... I saw a link online about a guy that does paintings with his "peter" he calls himself Pricaso. LOL! Do a search on Dlisted.com and it will come up. There is a video of him in action. * be warned there is some **** and balls to be seen on this vid... LOL! |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun lol only you would find that jeff! muvibiz how long have you had it? I thought they were still relatively new to be called workhorses. :) I did look at them but would rather wait to see how they make out after a year or so. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I have had it 6 months, It gets worked more than anyother bed. I use it and my patner. This really does help with your skin problems on your face. I have a client with old but deep pock marks from acne. She uses it 4 times a week, I can really see a difference. I know people that are using the Hydroderm and want a boost, so they started using the Rejuvasun and the Hydroderm. Needless to say I am buying the hydroderm myself, now. The technology is legit and the bed well made. I had 1 issuse with the facial fan, but minor and no problems since. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I have had a Rejuvasun for about a month. I too love it. I have had some issues with it braking down but ETS has straightened that out. Do you have any clients that are trying to treat plain acne break outs, not scarring? If so, what's the success rate of that and how many sessions to see some results? And how far into the recommended 3 month routine do people see results with the smoothing out fine lines? Thanks so much for your help! |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Tan America is supposed to unveiling something too, an allover LED Pacifica. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I wish they'd make something compatible to the regular beds we all ready have a tube lamp that has rejuvenating effects. I'd switch one of my base beds to that in a heartbeat. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I think Protan has RED TUBES in one of their beds. Don't know why you couldn't just put them in a regular bed and run it as your rejuvinator bed. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun That's what I was thinking, does anyone know anything about them. Not much information on their site. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I like the fact that the Rejuvasun is a three in one unit. I have clients that are only tanning and many that use the light therapy while they're tanning. I am a bit skeptical though how much fine line reducing you can do with 2 HP panels running right beside the LED panel. That's why I asked how long to get those results. Personally, I turn the face panels off and I have actually seen a difference after 3 weeks. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I wonder how the Prosun ones work since they are tubes and not LED |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Has nothing to do with the LED technology. It's the band of light that they put out. I think the LED was just the gimmic at the time cause it was just for the face at first and LEDs seem to cover a huge area but are huge money. Translation, they made a really expensive version of something that can be done rather cheaply now that they are available in tube form. The whole thing is just gimmic IMO. It's another product that was supposed to be the "anti" tan as this helps reverse the "harmful" effects of tanning. Trash can products. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I would do up one of my base beds to do that though. Why not, they sit pretty idle as most are in my upgrades. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Took the thought right out of my head. Could probably get decent money per visit too. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I am not sure if I should post the photo of the Tan America bed until after the expo, but I guess if they are unveiling it there (not sure when they are actually), anyway I have a pic of it on my email if someone wants me to email them what it looks like I will. I just don't want to be the one to post the pic. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Thanks Judy. I really want to try these tubes in a Sundash that I have to have something different. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I am considering it, I have no idea how much it is though. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I have clients that use the rejuvasun only for the light therapy. They use it for acne break outs. It is working for them so long as you advise them not to use any pre treatments. The lotions and pre treaments cause more acne. washing the face and using the rejuvasun is really working for them. I sold 500.00 in just facial packages on Saturday. **** good for this time of year. I have a lady that uses it for severe pock marks from acne. I can see a huge difference alrady and it's only been a month. She is so excited too. Good word of mouth is becoming very profitable for the rejuvasun. I am happy I invested. I am using it for the anti aging, I am using it + hydroderm. I am having great results. I have several clients that say using the rejuvasun with their hollywood whites products are getting better results as well, and the tanning side of the machine is great too. I am Loving it!!!!! |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I still don't get it. The Icon's facials clear up your skin in one session. How is this better? |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Just had a talk with Prosun and the bed prices weren't that bad, but wouldn't just sell lamps unless you owned the unit. I wonder when others will get on that bandwagon and sell a red spectrum lamp tube, or a LED replacement panel to work in different beds to switch out regular HP facials into LED. I smell money maker on this one.... |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun What about the Tan America unit? |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun My thought is the whole market will blow it self out if the "tubes" are compatable with reg. beds. Can I get a show of hands that would not relamp a bed to add a new sevice. ya see not a single hand. if EVERYBODY will have it, why blow the dough on a 10-15k bed to do the same thing? |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun They are compatible, the ones that "made" them just wont sell them without owning the equipment. It will be a matter of time before Cosmedico, Wolff or the others jump onto the bandwagon. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I was told by ETS in Nashville that the Rejuvasun bed will be offered with the luminere configuration and a "blue acne" light after 1/08. I am thinking the way Jeff is. Replace a base bed and offer something that my comp doesn't. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun The lamp companies need to get onto this one quick while the gettin' is good. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun I thought the blue light had to have a "certified tech" still, markert will blow itsef out very fast. I'll have one don't get me wrong, but I'll watch how much I spend. cause I know before to long there will be hand held "as seen on TV" models at walgreens for just $19.95!!! |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun already on Ebay! yeah! |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Lumiere claims to have 250 patents...spfffff every other company claims lumiere if full of mud. I tend to go along with the mud thing... specilly cause no body from the lumiere camp has called foul! I even asked if they were making the light panals for the other companys, both sides said no. tan america is using leds from Light Therapy Systems I guess they have been making em for some years in med equip. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun this is a link the TA rep. sent me http://www.lighttherapysystems.com/ |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun muvibz, Your client that you're treating with the bad acne scars....is she tanning while having the light therapy? I also have a friend with scarring from years ago that is trying the light therapy...she's been 15 times and seen very little results. But she has the UV's on too. Do you think that makes a difference? How many sessions before your client saw results? Now I have another client with just plain acne that saw a big difference after her 5th session. She was almost cleared up. Thanks for your help! |

Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun My client that has very bad acne scars turns off the facial tanning but still uses the lamps on the bed, so she is tanning but without the facials only the LED. She saw a difference after 5 sessions, and now comes 3 times a week for 4 weeks and then she will take a break for 3 weeks and start again. She uses lotion on her body and either nothing on her face or avon's anew thermafirm, while she uses the facial. It is working for her. The ones that use it for anti aging are getting great results after 3 or 4 sessions including my Mom. and Those with active acne are getting results after just 2 or 3 times. |
Re: Lumiere machine VS Rejuvasun Wow, we will try having her turn the facial UV's off. We were both getting pretty discouraged, but as I said, I had another client that got great results with plain acne after just 4 or 5 sessions, with the UV's on. And my clients that are using it for anti aging love it also. I've only been open and had the bed for about a month but I can see it was a great investment. I just turned 40 in July and I must say, I am a light therapy addict! I love it. I have a new client that has rosacea that I am anxious to see what it does for. Thanks so much for your info! |
