itchy skin help
heres my problem i started tanning not even a week ago i went maybe 4 times first time 6minz 2nd 6minz then 7 minz then i went twice for 8 minz....im thinkin i pushed it and upped my time 2 quickly because im very fair skinned...i dont usually burn quick tho....the beds where i go are really strong...i burned maybe after the 3rd time...then i started itching i cant get rid of the itch what so ever...i used lotion and showered after every session...and i've tried gettin rid of the itch by using lotion i even bought aveeno anti itch nothings working...im thinkin either im allergic to the bed cleaner or i just over exposed myself....help?

Just like your post you need to SLOW THE **** DOWN!!!!!!
you are tanning too fast. The hardest part of tanning is getting a base tan. Never lose that base tan with a session once a week and you won't have this problem. Also, showering BEFORE tanning is the correct way. Showering AFTER tanning is incorrect.

i figured it was 2 fast...the ppl at the place arent very helpful either a bunch of btches i didnt burn on my face @ all i have a tan on my face my back chest and stomach have pretty much a base tan...its jus it my back chest and stomach are the places it itches.....im not gonna go back till the itching stopz

After you tan your skin NEEDS the lotion as it acts like FUEL for the tanning process. If you wash it off, you are washing away the fuel.

gigi-- you need to purchase an AFTER TAN EXTENDER and put that on immediately when exiting the tanning room or tanning booth. If you are prone to dry skin, you should use it after every tanning session, and after every shower!.....And I hope you are using lotion before you tan as well...You NEED both, and you will see a huge difference in how much color you keep, and how quickly the itching will go away...
