How to stop customer from burning

I have a fair skin, red hair, freckled customer who has started tanning with us. I am putting her in my base bed for 4 minutes and she uses Believe for a lotion. She has tanned a 4 times and and continues to get pink. She states it feels like a sunburn. In the Summer when she goes outside she says she burns very quickly. We have discussed her medications and none of it would cause her to be sensitive. She does have lupus and not sure if that would have anything to do with it. I have tanned many customers who are fair skinned, red hair and freckled that have never had this much trouble. I even had an employee who was like this and she tanned very well. I am at a loss on what to do for her. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a true skin type one
And probably should not be tanning!

Somewhere between 40% and 60% of people with SLE are photosensitive. UV exposure can even cause flare ups. Tell her not to tan and save yourself some headaches.

Start her at 350F for 30 minutes then cover with aluminium foil............. sorry but I've already started celebrating Christmas
