Rep Power: 21 | Re: Who carries skin care? Skin care and tanning go hand and hand. We do very well with skin care. and it’s not seasonal. There is a lot to choose form. Educate your self on the ingredients. If you are going with all natural or organic do your research. Even vitamin. E (Tocopherol) has a synthetic version. When the word Tocopherol ends with the letters yl, it is synthetic. If it ends with ol, then you’ve got the actual oil. There are other things to look out for but I won’t get into it. I think to best thing to do is read the labels. Don’t let the word “natural” on the front label fool you; if only a portion of the blend is natural it can be labeled as such. Read the back labels. Personally, I would stay away form products that have parabens, & petroleum oils in them to start with.

Rep Power: 117 | Re: Who carries skin care? I sell Arbonne as well but it's not been as big here as it has for Kathe unfortunately. I know I personally use it and it's excellent stuff. My Doctors office also carries it and she ( my doc) promotes a lot of it but the MLM thing hasn't worked out for me because it seems everyone in my area is selling it already. Anytime I try talking to someone about it,they already sell it or they have a relative selling it to them. Not profitable for me but it's the product that I personally use and have not found anything better. |

Rep Power: 117 | Re: Who carries skin care? Sorry DHA is not approved in it's entiretly but was approved to be used as a cosmetic use.... QUOTE: DHA is approved for external application to the human body, which is the way these products are intended to be used. Consumers can easily avoid inhaling them or applying them to the area of the eye or mucous membrane. It's an old debate that could go on forever whether something is safe or not. Just like the tanning while pregnant debate. I'm not saying that it's no beneficial to use such protection guards, it's just not mandatory with airbrushing. I've never even been in a booth so I'm sure it's a much more intense process and those things absolutely should be followed. |
