i have been going to the solarium for about 2 months 3 times a week and i dont seem to be going real brown at all.... a slight tan... but nothing major really.... my tummy is getting dark but my arms are white as a ghost still.... its driving me crazy.... im using accellerator as well. any ideas?

i am using CALIFORNIA TAN DARK MAXIMIZER"MINX" ACELLERATOR..... i go in for the full 15mins, dont burn, just really slowly getting brown...... ive probably been about 20 times..... any more tips? i moisturise after tanning just using a nivea moisturiser, or do i have to use a specific one?

5. what kind of accelerator are you using? OK. Nothing special. You may want to try a little better lotion, but it won't do any good if you aren't getting the proper amount of UV exposure.

6. what kind of after sun are you using? Try a moisturizer designed for tanning.

The other thing is that your perception of how brown you are and how brown you want to be may be off.

sometimes like going out at night even though I am dark in certain light if I look at my legs or arms I look pale and then I think geeze I must be slacking eekkk! but then I see a picture from that night and realize I had great color..Or I have a lady who is dark dark dark like the color of Mahogny wood whenever she leaves the salon I feel pale!!! A few tips use a digital camara and take a picture, a picture is worth a thousand words and if you have color it will show up.....If that doesn't work perhaps your platue is a light shade and you need a tingle, heat or good bronzer to jump......and if all else fails inquire at your local salon about air brush tanning:)~
