Customer with brown splotches - tanTALK

I have a fair skinned, red haired customer that has from quarter size up to one lemon sized darker brown splotches on her skin since she has started tanning. One is on her belly and they are not from a dirty bed but we are trying to figure out why. Any clues?

Some peeps have patches of "extra" pigmentated (?) areas. I have one on the back of one calf and a small area on one forearm. Always been there, and gets darker with UV exposure. Either that or shes a freak of nature that needs to be erraticated. (sp)
