Rep Power: 0 | HELP! LITTLE RED DOTS! Hello everyone! Help me! I am very very light complected... I'm talking Casper white. I just started tanning yesterday, and this morning, I found lots of little red dots on my legs. They're not bumps, just dots. They're very very tiny, they almost look like freckles... just red. They don't itch and are not irritating at all. And they're ONLY on my legs. What are they?!! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: HELP! LITTLE RED DOTS! Aidan, first let me apologize for all the joking around above. That was very unprofessional of those people. You came here asking for our help, and they were most cavalier in their responses. Tsk Tsk. Now, as to your "problem", the good news is that it is less than a 50/50 chance that these 'dots' are AIDS-related. I suspect that they are not. I certainly wouldn't rush to the doctor for a blood-test...at least not yet. It could be little dots of erythema (sunburn), or, more likely, a heat rash. It doesn't sound like Herpes to me, but then, I'm not a doctor. I couldn't rule out scabies or lice without further information and close-up pictures. There are a number of fungal infections that people can get if their hygiene is...ahem.. questionable. Have you taken a bath or shower in the last month? Anyway, perhaps if you posted pictures (only if you are over 18 years of age) of your infected/infested/sunburned/diseased legs we could offer further opinion. I hope this helps! |
