Tiny bit of pink
I've just started tanning again after a few years off. I remember last time that I got a tiny bit pink on the whitest parts (tops of thighs, boobs, etc) and of course on my back because it's hard as **** to get decent coverage. I kept going every day/every other day and it eventually blended in without getting red or peeling, but I don't remember if I did anything to help it along.
Anyway, I've gone twice, in a regular bed, two days in a row and the pink is there again though not as bad. I was wondering if I have to slow down or do anything different with the lotions or if the pink will just blend in after a few more sessions. The majority of me is starting to color quite nicely though, and it would be a shame to have to slow down. :Mystery: |

Re: Tiny bit of pink
I don't mean to be a ***** but my appointment is in a few hours, and I was hoping to have at least an idea of what to do by then. I'm planning on going and just putting extra lotion on those areas, maybe something with a small amount of SPF, like maybe a 4.
If this won't help please let me know! Edit: Oh, I meant to ask too, is there a real difference between and oil and a lotion as far as tanning vs. burning? |

Re: Tiny bit of pink
just slow down or use a mild spf on the chesticles. You can only tan as fast as the most sensitive parts.

Re: Tiny bit of pink
1. Check the exposure schedule posted on the tanning unit you use. Follow what it says. Overexposure won't speed up melanin production.
2. Use a good quality tanning lotion. 3. Moisturize with a quality moisturizing lotion with the proper ingredients. Your salon should be able to help with this. |

Re: Tiny bit of pink
I've stuck with the same tan time since they started me. 3x on 8min. I'm taking the weekend off too.
Even before I started tanning again, I was moisturizing a lot, so that shouldn't be a problem. I even bought a better tanning lotion last night. It's one of the $20 ones they have at the salon. I wanted Iced Creme but it was twice as much, and they were out of it. |

BLASPHEMY!!!!!! You can get lotion 1000s of times better than that for 1/2 the price. Iced Cream is ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE WORST LOTIONS ON THE PLANET. The WORST. Wouldn't GIVE IT AWAY.
