Is it a burn or heat retention??

My tanning salon suggested the Ultrabronz for a quick base tan. Have to go 3-4 times within a 7 to 10 day period. Well, I've gone twice now waiting 48 hours inbetween. I called them on the day off and told them I was red...my legs my back, chest...etc. They told me that it was probably heat retention because it is impossible to burn in the Ultrabronz. After my second visit...HOLY CRAP am I RED!!! I called and told them if it's impossible, then how's come I am burnt? They said that there is no way I could be burnt and that once again it is heat retention and they wanted to set me up another appointment for today. I told them, no thanks, that my skin needs some "time off". I've been using a mixture of 100% aloe gel and pure jojoba oil to mosturize and sooth my skin. Are they lieing to me about not being able to burn...or am I just one of the few that do?

Yes it's a mattress and I have to flip to tan my back. How do I find out about the bulbs?? Do I need to look for something in order to tell? Seriously, if they are using regular bulbs and charging the ultrabronz price...I will be extremely ticked off!

NO! This is high pressure. There is no name on the lamps. Doesn't matter the LAMPS it's the glass filter system that'd be the problem. You maybe just real sensitive to the UV that's all.

So basically I just need to take it slow, skipping a few days in between until my skin gets adjusted to it correct? I used the CT-7 as suggested...is there something else that I should use instead since I'm sensitive to the UV's?
