Chloe, we are all here for you and trying to help. Based on your description, it is hard to tell whether you have a simple sunburn, or perhaps a rare tropical fungus, or maybe even a severe outbreak of shingles, warts or herpes.

Assuming you are an adult age 18 or over, perhaps it would be most helpful if you could post a series of pictures that show the rash, scaling, lesions and other features of this outbreak. We are not doctors, but perhaps the pictures will help us know what it is.

The pictures should NOT be nude, but perhaps they could be in your 'spring-break' bikini.

ummmm. ew EB. They could just be in her regular clothes, like with a tank top on or something.... Doesnt have to be that flesh revealing.

Tingles are more meant for helping tanners get past a plateau. If you like the heat, feel free but any good quality lotion will get you a good base tan.

LOL chyeah. ill get pictures ASAP. its almost like my tan has faded some now. like after all the shedding or whatever...like im not as dark as i was-- esp. on my upper back and neck area.

My suggestion would be to lay off of tanning for a few days and exfoliate until you even out.

Sometimes naturally dark people can burn without looking burned. If it is the lease bit tender, it burned.

When you start back, follow the bed manufacturer's recommendations on tanning. This will probably be 3 days a week to start and the session length will depend on the type of bed.

I use to do that when I over-tanned. I would not hydrate myself enough and tan the max time allowed, everyday, thinking that would make me tan better or faster. Alas, all I got from that theory was black blotches, white blotches and the dry skin. The Zebra look is what I had going on. Yuck.....I then learned to lower my time to half of what the beds max time is, and do it every other day. I learned how to build the nice even tan with healthy looking skin. I now use the Infrared sauna before tanning, since my skin is moist already , it seems to keep me from having to use so much after tan moisterizers. Take your time tanning. The doctor had me use a dandruff shampoo as a shower soap then and before getting out of the shower putting on baby oil or skin so soft. It straightened out my skin and I have had no problems since. That has been about 7 years ago....
