Eczema How to treat in salon
Ok all of you so called experts. I have a customer that wants there 13 year old son to tan once per week to help treat his eczema condition. How would you recomend that we treat this individual.
This person is already had a natural tan. I will probably only let him tan in the stand up for about 6 minutes, but what b4 and after lotions would you recomend? TIA |

Re: Eczema How to treat in salon
Use base beds. Higher UVB will help these type of skin disorders. Or if your stand up is higher UVB use that (mine is only 2% so I wouldn't use that). Try Sheer Wisdom, it is Hypo allergenic.

Re: Eczema How to treat in salon
I have eczema and it really doesn't matter what type of lotion I use, as long as it has good moisturization.....
As far as the beds I use....Either my 20 Minute or my 10 minute beds....I really haven't noticed a huge difference one way or another....They both work great... |

Re: Eczema How to treat in salon
In some states you can’t let a 13 yr old tan unless they have a doctors order. If you are not in a regulated state then personally I would not let him tan without a doctors order. Sometimes eczema (photo-allergic eczema) can get worse with UV light. If this happens and you are helping “Treat” his condition, any lawyer would call it practicing medicine (Photo therapy) with out a license.
