allergic reaction - tanTALK

I have a lady who is using A.G. Promised on her arms and legs, she's used it about 4 times. She has a rash on her arms and legs now, is she allergic to the lotion and if so, do I give her money back or replace it with something else? What is a good sensitive skin lotion?

I wouldn't give her the money back, but I would replace it with DS Sheer Wisdom. (Sheer Wisdom is supposed to be hypo-allergenic) You might want to check the lotion ingredients in Promised to try to pinpoint what she is allergic to. Are her arms and legs the only places on her body that she has used Promised?? It sounds a little odd that she isn't breaking out in a rash anywhere else on her body.

Oh ok. Well, I would still let her try DS Sheer Wisdom. Even if you only have a packet for her to try first to make sure that she won't break out again.

also fiji's Hidden Treasures is great, its a non bronzing hypo allergenic lotion. I would replace it. Not refund.

I have a customer who breaks out from it too! We have checked the ingredients against other products used and cannot pin point what it causing the rash. Strange!

Perhaps ask her what she is using for soap or body lotion before she comes in to tan. It's possible the rash is being caused by something else she's put on her skin.

weird she only uses it on her arms and legs.it might not be the lotion and just actually the UV she is having a problem with. How long has it been since she has tanned before? How many days was it she tanned in a row?Could be to much exposure....sometimes people mistake it for their lotion...could be over exposure.

That has happen to me. For my case if was the fregance. And i had this happen last week one of my good clients came in and had the same problem...just on her legs. I did replace it with something eles. I told her to go with something that she has used before, she was allurge to the bronzer. I would not give her money back and i wouldn't give her anything more then what the bottle is worth.... now that you can't sell that bottle at full price. THe lotion: Sheer wisdom it is great! by DS!
