Does anyone know anything about Arbonne skincare products or have any experience with them? Considering offering this line, don't know if it is a good idea or not...

Name doesn't ring a bell. How did you hear of them?

I used to be a sales rep for Arbonne. Never brought it into the salon. We do very well with John Abate facial care. Reason I went with JA for facial products is because clients who use JA for tanning see the results and like the lotions, so the sales are very easy, SINCE YOUR HAPPY WITH YOUR LOTION.... have you seen their facial care line!!!

Check out Arbonne on ebay...nuff said!

Arbonne is a MLM so it really is not your product sales, it is how many other people you introduce to selling the product. Arbonne is doing really well in Atlanta. I met a day spa owner that was doing so well with Arbonne and her spa that she was able to allow her husband, who is an MD, to retire. The product itself is good. I like the fact that it is all natural with no animal by-products. Once you start researching the ingredients in your skincare and beauty products it can be quite a shock to learn what you are doing to your body.
Salon owners are already excellent at networking and that really is the key to being a great Arbonne Independant Consultant.
There are other great MLM's out there too! Pure Romance is a neat way to increase profits. So if cosmetics is not your cup of tea, check out Pure Romance. I have a couple of salon owners who are Pure Romance Independant Consultants on the side.

thanks for the input, for those of you that are reps or have used their products, what are your opinions of the quality? River_brat you said you were a sales rep, what did you think of the company and its products?? I did not know JA had a facial line, but I have not had much sucess with their tanning lotions, so I am hesitant, but will check it out.
Peppermentpattie, what is Pure Romance? we are adding spa services, facials, etc. just trying to learn more about this area. thank you all for your help....

Dilworth, I loved the products, used them for years. I agree with peperment that the skin care ingredients are great! I like the JA line because they are simple for my staff to sell, if your doing a day spa you might be very successful with Arbonne.

I sell Arbonne in my salon and will not be for long. It doesn't do very well. Anyone can sign up to be a rep and you only make 35% on the products. One consultant in my area is telling people that he will pay the sign up fee $29.00 and then they can buy it for 35%off.Why should I continue to sell it when there are so many other just as good products out there that you can double your money on!

On the Topic of What is Pure Romance: It is a women only MLM company that puts on parties and sells ummm adult products.
You can key word search them and find them on the net. I have seen a trend in my salon owners I work with getting involved in being Independant Consultants with companies such as Avon, Mary Kay, Arbonne and Pure Romance.
If you are in the Atlanta area and interested in being an Independant consultant with Pure Romance I can refer you to a salon owner that is loving it!

Thanks Pepperment, but I am not in that area and am looking to add it to my salon. I treat all my clients as family/friends, but knowing them that way, they would not really go for that kind of thing, but it sounds fun.
To all of you, your responses are very appreciated, and although I am keeping Arbonne in the back of my head...I think I have decided against bringing it into the shop. But all the feedback is great, keep it coming....
