I am in Delta Colorado. 7000 population. I have been doing body wraps since opening on June 15 2007. For a salon in her infancy the wraps have kept my doors open. I charge 75.00 for 1 and 35.00 for a patial. I sell a package of 3 for 200.00. They do very well. I started using Ag slender quest. But since have ordered my supplies from ameriwrap. much cheaper and I like thier product better. I buy my bandages from a medical supply store here local and the warmer from AG died last month and they won't replace it so I bought a 40.00 hot plate and usebetter and heat is more controlable. I am adding aromatherapy and a infared sauna here in the spring. I have to say, for the extra service I provide, my reputation around here is great. If you can add it, I would say do so. But make sure who ever is doing the wraps does them correct it will be a bust. I am the only one that does them here in the salon. and keep yourself to 2 or 3 a day or you will be in alot of pain, the workout I get is deadly if I do 3 or 4 in a day. I usually won't schedule mre than 2 in 1 day.

Bella---since you have both the formostar and thermojet which do you think gives the best results?

I use www.bodywraps.com to get my body wrap supplies and I really like them. As far as the wraps go I love them myself. They make you feel so clean and alot less heavy afterwards!

Well I have both systems, Formostar and Thermojet. The potential for income is there IF you are in an area that infrared is easily marketed. Also it is important to make sure what the regulations are in your state. If there aren't any it does not mean they will not come up. In these times just remember, if people have to pay for gas and groceries before a luxury, guess what luxury is gonna go first? I have lots of clients that love the heated pad wrap systems (that is how I was instructed the hard way to call these.), BUT they can not do them like they want due to having to cut corners on there budgets to compensate. Idle equipment makes no money.
