Rep Power: 0 | You should not tan today. Wait at least 48 hours for your skin to reheal. When ever you turn pink or you burn - take a cold (as cold as you can stand it) bath for at least 10 min. This will help cool down the cells that are causing the burn. Apply an aloe vera based lotion after the bath and stay in cool clothing until you feel and see the color disapear. It works - I lived on the beach for a long time. Trust me:) Next time you tan I recommend using a high quality basic intensifier. Try to find one that is aloe based and has hemp for added moisture. |

Rep Power: 20 | Do not tan again until the pink is completely gone. And make sure you decrease your time. Your salon should have skin-typed you before they allowed you to tan. There is a guide on each bed that gives recommended tanning schedules for each skin type. If you allow the burn to heal and then follow that guide, you should be fine. Candie is right, IamTan would be a great place for you to get more information as it is a site geared toward tanners. |
