Rep Power: 0 | My doctor perscribed Nizoral Cream (or medical name Ketoconazole) in 2%. Basically, the remedy is delivered through a moisturizing system which is easier on the skin. I only needed it for one week and it has not come back. |

Rep Power: 21 | Most antifungals work well. YOu can purchase Over the counter medications (OTC's) at any pharmacy (CVS,Walgreens). Kenalog, Nizoral and others like that come in a 1% solution or cream. They are more expensive that just purchasing Selsun Blue, Heah & Shoulders or any local brand dandruff shampoo. The main ingredient you are looking for is Coal Tar. This is the most effective agent in the treatment of Tinea. |
