I've never had skin cancer, but it does run in my family so I figure it's only a matter of time before I get it... Is it still okay to tan after you've had skin cancer? |
Not a good idea. |
I agree...definitely not a good idea. And, to be completely honest, I would think twice about tanning if it ran in my family. After all, skin cancer can be pretty ugly and leave some serious scars (not to mention that some forms can be deadly). But, if I did decide to tan, I would only do so in moderation, being extremely careful to take care of my skin and never burn. But, if you're worried about it, you could look into sunless alternatives. The airbrush tanning and some of the spray booths give some pretty amazing results. |
We have a lot of clients that had skin cancer do spray tans now. Just a thought. |
I would suggest NOT to tan after having skin cancer... |
SPRAY TAN |
yeah, I've done mystictan before and it's ok... during the cold Minnesota winter it kind of sucks to replace going in a nice warm bed with get sprayed with cold smelly stuff haha... I never know what to do... my mom hasn't actually had it, but she's had lots of moles removed... but other types of cancer run in our family too that I've heard tanning helps prevent... I guess I just dont want any type of cancer... but yeah, one salon here offers some good mystic tan prices... monthly unlimited for about 100 or even 8.95 per session if you join the 'mystic club'... can't beat that! |
