I just have a few questions. I went to the tanning salon last night and used the bronzer bed for about 18 min; today my cheeks and my nose were bright pink like I had sunburn, but it doesn't hurt or nething. What's up w/ that? Also...I have little white spots on my legs. I'm looking at them now, and they don't look too bad...better than they were. What do I do to get rid of them. They're only bad when I first come from the tanning salon, then they kinda just fade away over time.
Oh sorry for all the questions, but I just have one more. I'm at 18 minutes in the tanning bed, and i'll soon be approching 20 minutes. What do I do once I get to 20 minutes? Do I just keep using the beds at 20 minutes every time or what do I do?
Thanks for your time. Any help is appreciated!!!

Just because a bed is said to be a "bronzer" doesn't mean that you can't burn. Some beds with bronzing bulbs emit a small to moderate percentage of UVB, so you could still burn if you overexpose. And burns don't always hurt.

What type of lotion are you using? And what do the white spots look like? Are they little non-tan areas, or bumps?

As for the time question...when you get to 20 minutes, you have a couple of options. First, I would stay in that bed for at least 3 or 4 sessions. Then, you can stay in the same bed and try different lotion types (like tingles and/or bronzers) to increase color, or you upgrade to stronger beds. I personally would stay in the same bed for the most part (throwing in a bed upgrade every three or four sessions) and rotate lotions. Try a tingle if you haven't already and experiment with different lotion samples. If you run across a lotion you want to try, and your salon doesn't have a sample, ask them to order it....most will be more than happy to do so.

yea the question about pink but does not hurt is my question also. What do you do when it is pink but does not hurt? Is that a burn?

Yes that is still a burn. I would wait a few days before tanning again, and lower your time a little.
