Sell her a product called ARREST it works very well and quickly and is inexpensive. Most distributors carry this product I beleive its made by sun west.

Stop the sweat and you stop the spots.

My doctor told me it's okay to tan too...so long as you don't mind the spots showing up worse and you use a bed with some serious fans. Fungus grows in moist places, so sweating only adds to the problem. What they fail to tell you is that tanning beds are not the only place you need to worry about sweating...a warm car works the same way. Since you don't sweat as much in a booth, it makes sense that the doctor would recommend it.

Another thing to consider...I've heard both from different doctors. Usually, the doctor that tells a patient that she shouldn't tan at all indoors is the same doctor who tells you not to tan with them. The doctors who realize that people are going to tan and advises smart tanning are the ones who tell you it is okay (which I take to be the truth...moderation, not the all or nothing approach).

Tineaversicolor sp??? is treated by selson blue (sulfar) and not directly caused by tanning so you can tan during treatment. So you can go to the DR and spend 45.00 for a tube of Sulfar type dog smelling lotion they give you or go to your local drugstore pick up selson blue ( not that it smells much better then the prescription stuff)for about 7.00 and expect the excact same results. Tanning is fine, but sulfar is a tramp to get off your acrylics so make sure she sticks with the stand up. Also during her treatment she will exfoliate making a spray on not look so good I'd think, and those spots are really dry so I'd expect the solution would be a different color on her spots and somewhat "grab" onto the color?
