Hey, I don't know if you guys can help but.... I went to the dermatologist today and had something removed. She told me to try to keep the area away form the sun until it heals, but I really want to go to the tanning bed tomorrow. Do you think it would be ok to go if I put a band-aid over the area or do you think I should just go w/ my dermatologist's advice, and stay away from the sun for a while?

yes you'll be okay just keep it covered.

when the something comes back from its tests??? Skin cancer????
DHA can give you some color instead of the sun. A person has to get used to the color of DHA and forget about being as dark as they used to get. Healthy looking skin does not have to be super dark.

I'm in the same position as you hun... I had a mole removed a couple months ago that had always seemed wierd to me... thankfully it was benign though... I'm only 20 so I'm sure there will be a lot more coming off in the future though (and I've never even really tanned that much, and when I have, I don't get very dark)!
