Rep Power: 0 | I'm a naturally VERY pale girl with green eyes and I CAN'T tan when I'm outside. I even went to Dominican Republic and did not tan at all; only burnt and then went all white again. I started indoor tanning about 1 month and a half ago and I'm really seeing results (even if I'm only going for about 12 minutes a week; but in a quite powerful tanning bed). BUT, my legs won't tan! I just started using a lotion (only used it once though) it is John Abaté's mango flambé. Still, they won't tan. They are sooo white (still less than they used to be, but anyway) ;/ Does it take a few uses for the lotion to work? What should I do? Thanks! |

Rep Power: 21 | First of all, you need to go tanning at least twice a week (even in a 10-12 min. bed). Second, you should be using a tingle w/ bronzer on your legs. "Dark Sexy Legs" by Matahari is specially formulated to tan your legs, and is WELL worth the investment!! The new "Soul" by designer skin, or even "Siren" by designer skin- would be good to use to darken your legs..... |

With top off the line indoor lotions you should get some natural tanning happening, but it won't be cheap to buy these lotions. If you have the bux, keep up with the UV tanning and you will eventaully see some colour. |

Rep Power: 0 | Dark Sexy Legs is great-my customers love it. Bombshell from Designer Skin works great also, but it is a hot lotion-not for sensitive skinned people. Legs on women do not seem to keep their color because we are always shaving (which exfoliates your skin faster & the faster you exfoliate, the quicker you lose your tan). Keep your skin very well moisturized & use high quality body washes instead of bar soaps (which dry out your skin). Using lotions & washes specially made for tanners contain tan extending ingredients to keep your tan longer. |

Rep Power: 107 | Stop using your lotion on your entire body and use it only on your legs for a while, this may help your legs catch up with the rest of your body. Seek out a salon with a leg tanner and use it to catch up. Check any moisturizers that you may be using on your legs only, everyone and their pet Emu is sneaking SPF into everything. |

Rep Power: 0 | Try tanning three times a week, bouncing back and forth between the different levels, and using a bronzer just on your legs.If you like tingle lotions, try Bombshell by Designer Skin...and don't skimp...hope this helps! |

Rep Power: 0 | Ava...just thought of something else... Are you exfoliating?Getting rid of that top layer of dead skin cells by exfoliating, twice a week, may also help....and use a moisturizer made specifically for tanned skin, like Continuous by Soakin' Up the Rays, or Angel by Designer Skin... |
