Hey

I got inked 2 weeks ago.
The guy said no sun until the tattoo is fully healed. Now I know it takes around 1-2 months for a tattoo to COMPLETELY heal.
I want to go back to the tanning bed though ;(
I might go next week, I don't know yet.
How do I protect my tattoo?
Can I put a SPF40 outdoor cream on it?

Thanks.

I think you should HURRY UP AND GET TAN cause we all know life is short. Why wait a month for a tattoo to heal, it's only gunna be there for the rest of your life.

Wait for it to heal then use a tattoo stick or lip balm or whatever SPF you like on it so it doesn't fade.

Stop talking stupid.

Well, IT IS healed.
But it's "supposed" to take UP TO 1-2 months to heal.

*sigh*

I mostly wanted to know WHAT to put on it.

Anything with sunblock that will not damage the acrylics if it will be in contact with them.

I was told not to tan for 2 months after getting mine so I didn't.I used the time to check out sunless booths & spray tans.UV is a tat's worst enemy.I'd listen to my tattoo artist. They should know.

I just make a paper cut-out of my tat and tape it over it every time I tan.
