Rep Power: 0 | Howdy, Over the past monthes Ive went to tanning salons and applied fake tan. The results are small blotches or pathches on my face. I read somewhere that applying some shampoo to those areas might help but it hasnt. I dont think its anything serious, because when I sit in the sun I get an even tan. Its not in a whole area im having a problem. Theres a tanned area, then a patchy area, then a tanned area, then a patchy area etc. Ive applied it loads of times so its not parts that ive missed. As I said I also had the same problem when I tried tanning salons. Anybody could help me Id appreciate it. |

Rep Power: 0 | Well that was helpful lol. As ive siad I get it when I use fake tanners and on sunbeds. Ive never had the problem before and ive used bothe methods in the past. Having read some of the other threads I see it might b a fungus or some poopoo like that. Does any1 think that selsun blue shampoo would solve it,and can i get it at any high street pharmacy? Should I try some sort of sunspot cream as well? |

Rep Power: 0 | Howdys. I was looking through some of the past threads, and what I seem to have is a bit different to spots. It's more big white marks. Part of my face is tanned, but ive got two of these marks. The tan starts then theres a mark then it starts again etc. I defently wouldent describe it as a spot, far bigger. Selsun Blue seems to b the main thing people recommend, but im wondering if this just might b a mosturising thing or something that isnt a fungus. |

Rep Power: 0 | hey if it is little spots it is called "sun spots" i get them sometimes. they are small and are kind of uneven. selsum blue shampoo is recomended but it doesnt seem to help. this is what you should do IF you have these. stop tanning for a little bit, let your skin even back out. then when you start back...MOISTURIZE!!! everytime you get out of the shower, lotion, before you go tanning, lotion, before you go to bed, lotion. it seems to help, in my experience. now...if they are just untanned areas (not uneven in the texture) and are in places like just above your butt, or on your shoulder blades, they are called "pressure points" i think. and that is from you laying on your butt or shoulder blades therefore you dont tan there...for this i recomend you to tan half the time on your back and half on your stomach. hope it helped! |
