16? Are you legally allowed to tan in your state?
Your salon is Smart Tan Certified, and we'll have to assume the know what they are doing. They should give your a skin type anlysis when you sign up, and this will help determine your exposure times based on the equipment they have. Don't be afraid of them.

Neon is right, ask the tanning consultants. They will be better able to help you once they know your skin type. Start off slow with a good acelerator and you should be golden in no time. Good luck!!

Depends on what the price is and for what type of bed you're going in. Does the salon offer a point system, minutes or packages? And then, just calculate it out.
