I have some clients that are very very allergic to aloe. ps. like neon said, use a body wash instead of soap. And don't take HOT showers, luke warm is better for the skin, less drying. I want to go tanning some more, but i went like 3 times in a high pressure bed, booth i mean. The max you can go in this booth is 10 mins, some other high pressure beds I have saw go 12 and 14 so i assume its way stronger and they put me in there for 6 mins for my first time. then 6 next day then 6 again. I am also light skinned not like albino just light, i dont burn all that easy maybe 2 hours of BLAZING sun will give me a pinkish color, then go away few hours. it did make me darker though considerably actually i was wwearing a plastic bracelet i forgot to take it off all 3 times.....yes im stupid, just slipped past my mins but then a few shades lighter. well i am done ranting, what kidn of lotions, mosturizers, soaps should i use , dont want that itch anymore, and also how often do you think i should go, 2ndly i dont think that alhoe lotion did any good itch lasted almost 3 days, alhoe would just make it feel a little cold then come back made it really smooth though, well let me know guys :P Josh |

If you think its not any of your own home products such as detergents etc that may be interacting with the UV...We use "Suspend" by Norvell...that also works on the hot action from tingle as well as the itch...if I could do it without ingesting pills such as benedryl...I would take the road of Suspend or the other kind listed ^^ I have not heard of it..but I am sure they must have to give you the name.. Wish you well ... Soo

After about the 5th time tanning I got a mild rash on the pressure points that touch the bed (elbows, shoulder blades for example) I am medical so luckily I have numerous doctors I work with everyday. Seems I got a mild heat rash. I would even get it and not visibly see it. I was told to put a small amount of baby powder on those areas prior to getting in the bed......it worked perfectly. Now, when I feel a mild start of an itch I back off tanning for a few days. BUt....Since I am so fair skinned I decided to try the Mystic tanner....it is an answer to a prayer for those of us that cannot tan! Being so fair skinned makes it more dangerous to tan, especially if you are freckled as well. I LOVE the mystic tanner. I have worked hard to perfect the tanning on my hands and feet and now that I have I can look like the women that actually have the great tans!!!! Trust me, if you are very fair skinned you lack enough melanin in your skin to ever really get a darker tan so try the mystic tanning..no more suffering for the red heads!!! |
