Rep Power: 0 | Hi. I've been tanning for more than a year now, both indoors and outdoors. However, my chest and neck won't tan much. The rest of my body tans fine. I try using tan accelerators and dark tanning oils on my chest and neck and it still doesn't tan very well. Any suggestions? |

Rep Power: 21 | Do the products you are using to try to accelerate your tan on your chest and neck contain mineral oils? Mineral Oil coates the skin and does not allow it to respirate the way that it should. If no oxygen is able to get to your skin, you will not be able to tan. |

Rep Power: 23 | Have a tried a bed with facials? And I dont mean just regular facials, but the spaghetti-type facial like in the sundash 232. They have facials that tan from your face all the way to about the bottom of your ribcage. I dont like facials, think they are too much, and recommend my customers turn them off (as they are optional), but most do not. A lot of them end up getting burned from the rib cage up because it is simply too much on that area of the skin. I cant imagine you laying in one of my beds and complaining about your chest and neck. |

If the lotion contains mineral oil than she/he needs to find a new salon cause the owners don't know what they are doing. I would suggest checking the ingredients of any moisturizers or other "cosmetics" you may be using to see if they contain any SPF. mIf they do, remove those products before tanning. Or buy a fishnet turtleneck. |
