Everyone seems to be recommending a bronze , and there is nothing essentially wrong with it. However, the bronzer will only give you colour from the "self-tanner" and will make your legs blend in. If you want some real UV results find a lotion that is specially designed to enhance leg tanning..........

dark sexy legs from mata hari, very good choice. something with a warming rather than a strong tingle for better effect without additional discomfort, such as ds bombshell or sultry sexy by mata hari

moisturize your legs twice as often, dry skin won't tan easily.

and shave/exfoliate before tanning, not after

you're only peeling off the top layers of skin at that point with a razor, and that's where the best tan is in the first place.

Matahari or Smooth and Sleek by Figi work well...try shaving right before tanning. I agree, bronzers give you self tanner color, not real color. I would try shaving right before hand and something specialized for your legs with a small tingle/warming sensation.

Try finding a salon that has a leg maching, preferably the Classic Leg machine. It is the only machine that has lamps that go between your legs and gets them totally surrounded with light. I have a Very white, red haired, green eyed Irish woman who, at 35, has the first tan in her life......3 times a week in my stand-up and leg machine combination.......WORKS.

I have tried Dark Sexy Legs. How does Smooth & Sleek compare? I may be interested in trying it myself.

Matahari has a better smell, but the Smooth and Sleek "makes your legs smoother by stopping stubble" it's supposed to make the hair on your legs thinner so you don't have to shave as much. I'm not sure how that works, or if it does, but I liked it just the same.

If you can't find a leg tanner, tan in a bed with facial tanners only lay the opposite way so that it is a leg tanner. I have several customers who do this with better results.

I have always had this same problem and fixed it by cutting out all shaving creams completly.
Most shaving creams actually have sun block in them I was having a problem figuring out which ones did and got tired of reading and working so hard to find shaving creams that did not have it so I switched to Dove soap.
I use plain old dove soap to shave with and bronzer on my legs I really like Supre Cafe Bronzer starting noticing changes immediatly the results were amazing.

Now my legs tan faster than everything else....

Thanks,
Tephony
