The other day i started tanning again... i didnt use anything my first two visits... i havent had a chance to use this Frigid product im using because I have been burnt!
I went for 8 minutes and saw little results so then I tried to go 12 minutes and now im burnt badly... so bad its uncomfortable laying down... any suggestions for the next time i tan? (probably a few days)

Dont go 12 min. It takes time to develope a tan. Youre tanning consultant should know what is best.

Don't tan until the redness AND pain completely go away. A burn is damaged skin. Use plenty of moisturizer and drink a lot of water to stay hydrated, and always use lotion when you go back to tanning.

What's your skin type? and what does the bed recommend your skin type start at....these things will help to prevent what you're suffering from now. I hope you feel better soon!
Don't tan again until ALL of the pink/red goes away...and then start off slow....

Its hard to tell really, my skin type that is... I tan really easy and do not burn as much outdoors but I burn easy indoors... I have brown hair/eyes and I consider myself to be relatively fair skinned... Im pretty sure I should have stayed with 8 minutes until I see some results...
And this advice of talking to the tanning consultants might be a good idea.. its just hard to approach them when they have hundreds of clientel and maybe at the most two dozen men! (Men are hard headed and dont like to ask for directions, etc)

Your next visits (in minutes) 8, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 10, 12. Follow this plan and you won't burn.
