Tingles on the face can cause rosacea!!You should never use one on your face!!

People wash there face all the time and do hoorible things to it. I air brush tans . When a person comes in with makeup all over there face trying to match the tan on their body WOW. DHA a instantly colors their face. Using a heat reactive accelerator makes them red from heat not a very good solution.

What about John Abate's Solarium Facial Oil? It has a tingle factor of 2, and I do like to use that on occasion...

i found this thread on google..and i had to say something !!
i used to work at a tanning salon and after a while i started using a tingle lotion. i applied it everywhere, INCLUDING my face.. and i have been using the same lotion for almost a year now.
i started having problems with the skin on my face several months ago.. my cheeks, nose, and a little bit of my chin are constantly red and i never knew why, until i researched a little about tingle lotions.
i have now been diagnosed with rosacea by my doctor and 3 different prescriptions later, i've decided to get laser skin treatment which is going to cost a few hundred bucks.
so yeah tingle lotions really shouldn't be used on your face... i learnt my lesson

I agree with not using the tingle on the face b/c I was an every other day tanner and I did use the tingle on my face and I do have those permanent red marks from bursting blood vessels and it is not pretty. Unfortunately the ladies at the salon couldn't tell me what was happening knowing the lotions I was using. I had to find it out from another salon manager friend. It is better to use a facial lotion designed specially for the face.
