using selsun?

hey, people have mentioned that using the selsun blue shampoo helps the white spots...now do u wash ur body with it when showering or do you rub it on the spots after your showered...just need a little clarification...thx

If you have sun spots, yes using selsun blue can help. You basically rub it onto the affected skin, I would recommend letting it stay on your skin for a minute or two, and then rinse.

You should also wash your hair with it for at least 2 weeks as it is a fungus that comes from your hair. Those spots should begin to tan again after treating for a couple weeks.

Nioxin was suggested last year to clear up white spots, but I don't remember which Nioxin product. They make many hair products.

There is also a tan product called "wipe out" that is a leave on lotion that works.

Yes- all the NIOXIN products are superior! Scalp therapy is great for many skin & scalp conditions. Also nice for shaving.

i am using selsun, and my doctor recommended that i put it on before bed on the infected areas, and leave it on overnight. repeat 24 hours later. so far i notice that the spots don't seem sort of raised anymore, so i believe the infection is starting to dissipate. however i still experience some mild itching, and after even rinsing off the selsun, my skin burned until i put some other lotion on to cool it down. i'm using the selsun blue 2.5% *extra medicated shampoo. how long does this take to work anyway?

6weeks maybe. If you never plan on going in the sun or high heat again.
