Her face is permanently paralyzed. It's been that way for about 2 years. But, like I said, it wasn't administered correctly. I'm not sure if she took legal action. It's probably quite safe.

People.....FYI.....

Botox acts as a muscle deadner to paralyze the muscle and keep it from moving. Obviously, if it can't move it can't form a wrinkle. Muscles will atrophy over time if not used.....hence, most retirement home residence seem to wither away if they don't remain active. Do you really want the muscles in your face to "wither away". WHat happens after you have done this repeatedly and have placed certain muscle groups in "suspended animation" for months....years on end?

I hear lots of "bad press" about the effects on the human anatomy from UV light. I suspect this will be insignificant once the true impact of long term Botox use is determined.

Wrinkles are not a sign of age they are a sign of life experience......years of laughing and smiling. And, personally, I prefer a woman with experience.

Just MHO for what it is worth.

I have said it once or twice and I will say it again..the AVON clinical works really well on those winkles on your face without the needle.

The craters I had responded minimally to topical treatments. The microdermabrasion, retinol and other prescription strength products have made my skin look much better and I will continue them. I have always used a skin care program but the years (and extreme weight loss) AND years in the sun were starting to really accumulate on my face. I don't have any desire to look 18 again but I also don't want to look like an aging shar-pei. I do agree that you shouldn't start these things too young. I am not too young...I have children as old, if not older, than most of you.

PS..after a week, I look a lot less like Goldie Hawn, still a little swollen but looking much more normal. Doc says give it another week.

Why the heck not...if the barn needs paint...paint it!! Same reason as coloring hair, wearing makeup, whitening teeth or anything else we do to improve the way we look and feel about ourselves.
