I have a customer who got burnt in the tanning bed on December 23, 2003. She has already peeled, and now she is itching really bad. Why is she itching?

the skin is really dry. how badly did she get burned?

She needs to moisturize really good. Did you put her in for the full session? Was she fair skin? Need to start her slowly. I usually start those Type 2 skin people at 5 mins to start and gradually go up in exposure.

Definitely moisturize and use Cal Tan Insurance....great stuff!

She has been coming in for about 6 months, and it was not the first time she had gone 20 minutes. It just blows my mind. I told her that her skin was really dry and she needed to moisturize, and she said she was........so

Sounds like she is on some kind of meds to me...
She may want to exfoliate once healed and yes the Cal Tan Insurance is the greatest stuff made...I keep that in stock year round.

TWO Words SEA SALTS!!! Sea salts are an amazing means to moisturize extremely dry skin. Use them in the shower and towel off and apply your regular lotion. I use and sell sea salts from arbonne. They are all natural ingredients and my clients love the smells. www.arbonne.com Millinium tan also makes a really great sea salt scrub called induldge. I myself being a fair skinned tanner, i live by having to maintain the best level of moisturizing and I use the sea salts and the angel line from Designer Skin!

Use my product, Plantolin 12 Hours Body Balm. It stops the itching and prevents peeling from minor burns. It's good stuff!!!
