Rep Power: 0 | I just had another microderm today. My aesthetician is really pleased with my progress and happy that I haven't been tanning my face. I wish I had taken before & after closeup photos because I would like to see the true difference. It is amazing all the stuff that lives under the surface and takes awhile to find its way to the surface. It is definitely a work in progress. Pam |

Rep Power: 21 | You talk as if tanning is bad for your skin...Funny...Yes it does help age your skin.. But I must ask.... Doesn't skin age anyway? And don't we all look OLD at some point in our life? YES. A question for you Frank.. How can you ask if we talk like we care about our skin? Do you? And do you care about your body? I wonder, because if you actually did than you would know moisturizing helps promote healthy skin, and tanning gives you Vitamin D. In fact, it's the only way to get this.. Did you also know that we must have 1000mg a day? Milk only provides so much..So the only other way to get this essential vitamin is to what? TAN!!! Hmmmm... Do you care about your skin or your body? That's the question you should be asking... Tan or not, Don't moisturize your skin and see what happens. What a stupid remark. |

Rep Power: 0 | I don't think anyone will dispute that Vitamin D is essential and the best way to get it is through UV exposure. Tanning is drying to the skin as are other environmental factors. Also, the skin on the face and chest has a finer structural composition and is easier to damage and cause premature aging effects. Those of us who are a little older would like to hold off those signs of aging as long as possible and repair previous damage when necessary. Sunlight is essential and so is moisture. Yes we all age but why make it happen faster if you can avoid it. Pam _________________ ****************************** It's a GREAT time for a TAN! Rep Power: 107 | My opinion, anyone that has a good skin care regiment should not be scared of UV exposure. Once again the billion dollar babies have scared everyone out of the sun and tanning facilites. Did you know that you should be wearing an SPF when there is a full moon? The moon is visible only because the sun is reflecting off of it. Slather that SPF on everynight people. |
