I know im not the cub reporter, but my name IS chris..hehe

I had a series of three (3) Glycolic Acid peels done, to help clear up my skin. This was like a year and a half ago.
The peels were light in strength, and the whole peel was a facial...a nyce cleansing, a prep, then the peel, and then a moisturizing mask.

They help exfoliate the surface skin cells, to reveal smoother skin, and make the skin look more radiant. They also help clear up blemishes...

I believe that the peels helped me out greatly.

Hope I helped...

I also have a question for cubby....

I have heard of a Papaya enzime peel, followed by a glycoloc acid peel...

Does this do anything different to the skin, is it better than just the glycolic acid peel???

thanks

There are so many different types of peels on the market.
Low grade peels, Enzyme peels,Fruit acid peels..

I will do a topic section starting this evening on peels.

Remember... You must always PATCH TEST before a peel is placed on the skin..
Be sure you know what is in the peel and know if you will become reactive to it.

Peels are wonderful in moderation. and should be done by a licensed skin care professinal.

Never peel around the eye area or nose, as this can cause damage.

I promise we will really explore this topic in depth..

Love, Chris

The first peel we will look at is an Intensive Acne enzyme peel..

This treatment is a blend of of active fruit enzymes that help to digest surface debris loosen inpactions under the skin and help refine pores. Steaming the face about 5 minutes with.. removing the mixture with a warm towel.

I use a Eucalyptus mask on the skin after this peel to calm the inflamation and help to reduce the pores.

This is a very very wonderful peel for acne.
It should be done by a certified professional who can judge how long the enzyme should stay on the skin.
Sometimes 5-10 minutes can be too active on an individuals skin..

Hello I do peels in my salon and I use Intaglio Skin Care They have up tp 5 different peels 35% gycolic up to a 50%at a PH of 1% the 70% peels are witha doctor only. I love this line and it is Cosmetic_ Pharmacutical grade. They have a website check it out some time. But yes there are so many different peels on the market and they each do a different job for a different skin problem. But you must know that if you are going to do Gylocic peels and then tan you are defeating the purpose of the peel. A complete waste of money and time. Sorry but is is true.
